Here you'll find some instructions for measuring the neck of your furkids.
In this picture of my friend Fifi you can see the size needed for:a standard collar with buckle (C) and the sizes needed for a half check collar (A, B and C).
Place the measuring tape tightly around the neck where the collar will be (C) and for a half check collar also tightly on the head (A and B). No fingers in between please!
Always let me know which way(s) you used to measure.
The normal buckle collars are made with 4, 5 or 6 holes, depending on the age of the dog and type of collar. I'll make it fit in a way you can adjust the size in case of weight gain or loss.
If you have doubts you can check the outcome of your measurement on a well-fitting collar by measuring the top of the buckle to the hole you use to make the collar fit tight.
In case of a half check collar measure the size of the half check collar you currently use at two points: the length of the leather/fabric part (without the D- or O-ring) and also the length of the chain from end to end when holding it stretched out as far as possible (including D- or O-rings)
